Bālāsana, or Child's Pose, is known as a resting pose.  A pose one might take in-between challenging postures, to rest the body when a sequence becomes too strenuous.  However, this pose is not entirely comfortable.  In yoga, even resting poses are only temporary.  The opportunity to recharge is always available to you, knowing that when you are ready to continue, you will be even more present.
